Who contacts my utility companies to verify location of buried lines?
A Backyard Fence professional will contact your utility providers and schedule a time for them to come onsite to identify buried lines.
How long does it take to install a fence?
This depends on the size of the job, materials being used and obviously the weather. With that being said, the vast majority of fence installations performed by Backyard Fence take approximately one to three days.
How long will my fence last?
Climate, soil conditions, materials and installation procedures all have an impact on the life of the fence. If the fence is properly installed and quality materials were used during the installation process your fence will undoubtedly last you a long time. Of course, all fences need to be properly maintained. A Backyard Fence professional can assist you deciding which type of fence would best serve your needs.
Do you offer any type of warranties?
Backyard Fence stands behind their products and workmanship. Backyard Fence will honor and provide all the manufacturer’s warranties for the materials used and will stand behind their workmanship for one year after installation.

What is the difference between PVC and vinyl fence?
PVC is a type of vinyl and is one of the most popular fence materials in the Orlando area. PVC stands for polyvinyl chloride and it makes a good looking fence that does not need to be painted. When installing a vinyl fence, PVC is the only type of vinyl we use and is often referred to as vinyl or plastic fencing.
What is the difference between a vinyl and a plastic fence?
Vinyl is a type of plastic that is made from ethylene (found in crude oil) and chlorine (found in salt). To make fence panels, both the substances are combined to form Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) resin which is referred to as Vinyl.
